John Reed & Son began in 1972 with the hope of restoring antique furniture using modern materials and methods. John Reed & Son were commissioned by our local Ibis Hotel, Wellingborough to re-cover six sofas, nine chairs and four stools to rejuvenate their reception area. We used a combination of red and black easy-to-clean fabric to ensure that the chairs would withstand heavy customer use and retain their high-quality condition.
