We were approached by our customer to make a bespoke chesterfield for their newly refurbished basement, the challenge being that the staircase to access the basement was too small to fit a sofa through.

To solve this we constructed this sofa in individual 4 parts; seat, back and arms. Once build and upholstered these were then assembled and finished off inside the basement.

All aspects of this build were decided on by the customer including the style, dimensions, cushion type and fabric (Blendworth Downton Fern).Also for this room we restored and re-covered a wing-back armchair and made a foot stool to match.
